Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning.
  • Proficient in preparing and managing BOQ.
  • Skilled in Cost Reporting and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and numerical ability with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of QS/tendering software is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documentation.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and scope of works for accuracy.
  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs and develop competitive pricing.
  • Evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations and negotiate best prices.
  • Analyze tender conditions, highlight risks, and provide recommendations.
  • Propose cost-saving alternatives through value engineering.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams for tender inputs.
  • Prepare and submit complete tender proposals and clarifications.
  • Support post-tender activities including presentations, interviews, and revisions.
