Reporting to the Project Manager, this full-time Quantity Surveyor role at MTL Construction Sdn. Bhd. is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team in Selangor. As a key member of our Construction department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive quantity surveying and cost management services to support the successful delivery of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Measuring and quantifying construction materials and labour requirements
• Negotiating and administering subcontractor and supplier contracts
• Monitoring project costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings
• Preparing and submitting progress claims, variations, and final accounts
• Providing technical advice and support to project teams
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques
• Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering projects on time and within budget
