QUALITY OFFICER (CONTRACT)

Location: SELANGOR HALAL HUB PULAU INDAH INDUSTRIAL PARK SE, LOT 57 JALAN SUNGAI PINANG 4 3KS11, PORT KLANG, 42920, Malaysia.

Contract Type: Fixed-term contract.

We are looking for a Quality Officer to further strengthen our Quality department. As a Quality Officer, you will assist the Quality Manager with the set-up and maintenance of Quality Management Systems in order to comply with all global and local regulations and systems.

Responsibilities

• You are required to Deal with all HALAL & KOSHER related activities, including updating the e-system, updating documentation, monthly report and communicate with officers
• You act as coordinator between Oleon Internal & Authorities
• You need to Handle & follow up closely on Health Certificate application and Free Sale Certification
• You need to Handle and deal with Subcontractor on all Pest Control services, follow up on the site visit, pest trending result and update management on issues and propose solution, and prepare document and monthly report on pest activities
• You are responsible to verified CCP and OPRP for Plant operation and reviewes the gaps and update managers if there are any abnormalities
• You are required to perform PR and MIGO in SAP for all purchase requisitions from the Quality Department
• You need to prepare monthly report related to HALAL, KOSHER, Pest Control
• You are appointed as internal trainer for the Quality team and required to conduct training related to GMP, food safety, HALAL, KOSHER
• You are appointed as internal trainer to carry out internal audit, weekly site inspection, and supplier audit
• You need to coordinate HALAL, KOSHER audit
• You must be supporting in answering customer questionnaire
• You are required to arrange environmental monitoring sampling

Qualifications

• You have a minimum bachelor’s degree in chemistry or Food Biologist
• You have minimum 1-2 years QA experience in food industry or in related field
• You have basic understanding of software and QA methodologies
• You have the ability to understand and follow instructions
• You have the ability to work in a team with multi-culture and nationality
• You are a fast learner and adapt with work environment
• You have good presentation and communication skills
• You are a good observer & attention to detail
• You are willing to travel to Pulau Indah, PortKlang
