The Quality Manager – Key Accounts is responsible for ensuring customer and product quality excellence across key customer portfolios. The role drives continuous improvement, preventive mindset, and risk-based thinking to meet or exceed customer expectations and company goals.

This position collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), strengthen customer satisfaction through scorecard improvements and escalation management, and foster VAT’s core passions of Integrity, Teamwork, Customer Centricity, and Innovation while promoting a culture that makes VAT a Great Place to Work.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Identify and analyse issues, defects and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products, recommends and facilitates solutions to prevent recurrences of these issues.
  • Provide coaching on 8D root cause analysis and corrective action and preventive action.
  • Interface with customer on quality related topics.
  • Be the Customer Representative ensuring full compliance to Copy Exact requirements
  • Driving Product and Quality performance improvement working with various functional team within VAT
  • Ensure completion of Quality Planning for all new product introduction.
  • Lead customer audits and customer quality performance reporting
  • Maintain high standard of 8D reports
  • Ensure out of control situations are managed effectively through a well-defined ,Out of Control Action Plans (OCAP), e.g. timely and effective containment actions
  • Good team-player, who can influence other functional group to work towards total customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in managing people, focused on delivering result that meets the expectation of the VAT Management and customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent data storytelling and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • BSc (Physics/Mathematics) or BE (EE/ME) with 8 years of experience in Semiconductor environment.
Qualifications
  • Preferred Qualification:
  • BSc (Physics/Mathematics) or BE (EE/ME) with more than 8 years of experience in Semiconductor environment.
  • Certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
  • Semiconductor /Wafer manufacturing environment, not limited to VAT’s Global and Key Accounts customers.
  • Vacuum Valve Product and Process Knowledge / Wafer Fab front-end processes
  • Additional language skill other than native languages (e.g Mandarin/Germany/Japanese)
