Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead PQE, CQE, SQE, Incoming Inspection & System Quality teams.
  • Implement quality strategies aligned with corporate goals.
  • Act as main contact for OEM customers and manage complaints.
  • Lead APQP, PPAP, validation, and quality approvals.
  • Oversee supplier evaluation, qualification & monitoring.
  • Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits.
  • Monitor quality KPIs and lead improvement projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
1. Quality Leadership & Strategy

Lead PQE, CQE, SQE, Incoming Inspection & System Quality teams

Implement quality strategies aligned with plant/corporate goals

Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 & customer-specific requirements

2. Quality Management System (QMS)

Oversee quality procedures, work instructions & documentation

Ensure effective 5S, ISO & IATF 16949 execution

Lead management reviews & meet QMS targets

3. Customer Quality & Issue Resolution

Act as main contact for OEM customers

Manage customer complaints with 8D/5Why and corrective actions

Maintain strong communication and follow-up

4. APQP/PPAP & Product Quality Assurance

Lead APQP, PPAP, validation & quality approvals

Review production/supplier documentation for audits

Ensure implementation of inspection standards & control plans

5. Supplier Quality Management

Oversee supplier evaluation, qualification & monitoring

Drive supplier improvements and ensure effective CAPA closure

6. Internal & External Audit Management

Lead internal audits & coordinate IATF, customer, and OEM audits

Ensure timely closure of audit findings

7. Continuous Improvement & Data Analytics

Monitor quality KPIs (PPM, FPY, NPI, warranty, scorecards)

Lead projects using FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, DOE, Lean Six Sigma

Analyze 4M/process changes for product & process stability

Requirements (Must-Have)

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Quality, or related engineering field

5–7 years automotive quality experience, including 2+ years supervisory/managerial

Hands‑on experience with CMM, calipers, micrometers & gauges

Strong leadership, decision‑making & communication skills

Proficient in English, Malay & Mandarin
