Overview
To perform product inspection / verification / validation in accordance with product specification, statutory, regulatory and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- To perform inspection / verification in accordance with specification and procedures with minimum one Quality Scope approval.
- To perform in-process testing for process verification in accordance with specification and procedures.
- To highlight any non-conformance product in accordance to specification and procedures.
- To record, update and maintain all Quality Record in accordance with procedures.
- To assist First Article Inspections activities.
- To participate in improvements activities toward eliminating or minimizing defects and customer complaints.
- To follow administrative procedures and requirements.
- Environment Health and Safety
- Adhere to safety rules and regulations at all times.
- Comply with road regulations and shop floor regulations.
- Involvement in the safety implementation and execution
- 5S
- To create a safe, clean and conducive workplace.
- To internalize 5S and FOD-Free work culture throughout the entire facility.
- To achieve high quality standard work and services for all staff
- To perform any other tasks given by Superior.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Must possess at least a Diploma, preferably in Engineering, with 1–3 years of working experience in the relevant field; OR
- SPM with Technical Certificate and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
- Fresh graduates with a Diploma certificate are also encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge in 7 QC Tools.
- Capable to read and understand engineering drawing such as CATIA, ENOVIA, AutoCad etc.
- Knowledge in Aerospace Quality Systems (AS9100) is an advantage.
- Familiar with inspection equipment such as caliper, micrometer etc.
- Good command of English and able to converse in Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to perform under minimal supervision.
