Job summary

A technology-driven manufacturing company in Johor, Malaysia is looking for a Quality Engineer with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and strong knowledge in quality control methodologies. Responsibilities include leading quality issue resolutions, managing inspections, and coordinating MRB meetings. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in teams. The salary range is RM5k - RM8k, with AWS as a benefit.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience in the related technical field, semiconductor manufacturing is desirable.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Verbal and written communication and personal interface skills required.
• Preferably with management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality issue resolution and establish corrective actions.
• Coordinate MRB meetings for quality failures.
• Manage product inspection and develop quality plans.
• Lead product and process risk analysis efforts.
• Develop effective measurement metrology.
• Conduct process audits for compliance.
• Monitor and report monthly performance.
