A manufacturing company based in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Management Representative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying inspection records, coordinating defect issues, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Strong communication skills in English, proficiency in mechanical inspection tools, and familiarity with ISO standards are necessary. You will conduct audits and ensure corrective actions are followed efficiently. The role requires an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Act as MR / QMR.
Perform & Verify the authenticity and completeness of IPQC, FQC, and OQC inspection records and cosmetic criteria to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements.
Coordinate with production and other internal departments on non‑conformance product issue upon identification of defects, create Non‑Conformance Report (NCR).
Prepare inspection specifications SIP and control plans based on drawings (including ECN/ECR design changes) and production process flow.
Performs First Article Inspections, review of new product introduction sample reports and documents resulting data in accordance with Customer requirements.
Ensure products compliance of customer requirements, 8D Report and industry standard.
Responsible to ensure that corrective action is taken when discrepancy is found during internal / external audit complaint.
To carry out daily verification on product non‑conformity (NCR) and goods release. Analyze and improve abnormal conditions found during the process, and track and confirm the improvement results.
Plan and evaluate process conformance and perform quality audits for various manufacturing processes.
Handling internal quality issues, summarize process defects, weekly and monthly statistics.
Work with managers to identify approaches and methods to improve overall quality.
Ensure all improvements plan, corrective/preventive actions are implemented effectively.
Train new employees, formulation of inspection methods, and planning of control plans.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Cooperate with the company’s overtime responsibilities according to the needs.
Perform other duties and responsibility as assigned by superior from time to time.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English. (Mandarin will be an advantage)
Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and understanding of GD&T principles.
Proficient in use of all mechanical inspection instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, projectors, CMM & etc.
Familiar with sampling plans and able to formulate SIP, able to understand mechanical drawings (three‑view drawings)
Proficient in using the seven major QC techniques and have certain process analysis capabilities
Experience in 8D report writing capabilities
Able to use simple CAD tools and familiar with Microsoft Office
Familiar with ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 System Documents
The ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
