Job description

As a Quality Control Executive at UPAC MANUFACTURING SDN. BHD.', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of the company's manufacturing processes and products. Based in Mount Austin Johor, this full-time position is responsible for implementing and maintaining robust quality control systems to meet industry standards.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular inspection and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and final products to identify and address any quality issues
• Developing and documenting quality control procedures and processes to maintain product quality
• Analysing quality data and generating reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborating with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
• Ensuring compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and internal policies
• Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices
• Continuously looking for ways to optimise quality control processes and enhance efficiency
• Maintaining ISO 9001: 2015
• Ad Hoc duties as per instructed by management team

What we’re looking for

• Experience in manufacturing industry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret quality data and implement corrective actions
• Proficient Microsoft excel, PowerPoint, Words and ISO standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and resolving quality issues
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
