Position Overview

The QC Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining product quality by monitoring production lines, collaborating with the QC team, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Responsibilities include record management of tested samples, assisting in investigations of non-conformances, and implementing Good Manufacturing Practices, while supporting training initiatives.

• To monitor on each stage of production lines as assign.
• To work with production team and QC Assistant members to ensure cost effective, high quality & timely delivery of products.
• Maintain a proper record system on all tested samples for easy retrieval, avoid unintended use and disposed at correct shelf life.
• Assist in investigation on any internal/audit non-conformances or external customer complaint
• Assist Hygiene Supervisor to maintain good housekeeping in production area and perform sanitation inspection when needed.
• Assist the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices in the plant.
• To assist Executive/Sr. Executive and supervise on job training to new recruitment and internship student.
• Report any non-conformance in matter related to food safety and quality systems.
• To perform any other assigned duties from time to time.

Education

• Open to SPM graduates with a background or interest in food manufacturing.
• Candidates with a Diploma in Food Technology or equivalent will have an added advantage.

Experience

• Experience working in the food industry or manufacturing will be added advantage.

Skills

• Capable of working on shift basis / willing to perform overtime work.
• Capable of working alone and with others under stress.

Other Requirements

• Capable of working under cold temperature.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Willing to accept advice and constructive feedback.
