Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector to ensure compliance with quality systems and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in QAQC, strong knowledge of QAQC principles, and familiarity with ISO standards. Responsibilities include supporting audits and maintaining inspection reports. This role is crucial for ensuring high standards in the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in QAQC (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Experience in ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 / GMP is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of process validation and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and customer requirements.
• Support internal & external audits.
• Maintain traceability records and inspection reports.

Skills

Strong knowledge of QAQC principles

Ability to read and interpret drawings

Familiar with inspection methods

Knowledge in root cause analysis

Experience in documentation control

Education

SPM/ Diploma in Science, Quality Management or related field

Technical Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of QAQC principles, inspection methods, and testing procedures

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, SOPs, and work instructions

• Familiar with incoming, in-process, and final inspection (IQC, IPQC, OQC)

• Knowledge in root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone) and CAPA

• Experience in documentation control, deviation handling, and non-conformance reports (NCR)

• Basic understanding of process validation and risk management

Quality Systems & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, customer requirements, and regulatory standards

• Support internal & external audits

• Monitor and enforce cleanliness, 5S, and safety practices

• Maintain traceability records and inspection reports
