Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsibility in ensure that all relevant data are truthfully filled up and the material analysis report and other documentation are correctly and speedily filled up before submitting to the senior to review. Under general supervision, to execute quality assurance and or quality control operations directed towards ensuring conformance to specification and international quality system regulation requirements under general direction of the immediate supervisor and head of department, which are according to prescribed guidelines and or instruction.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. To execute daily jobs such as testing, sampling of product and evaluation of raw material / in-process chemicals / semi-finish good or substances received speedily according to prescribes specifications and test methods.
2. To ensure materials status throughout the system are properly identified by using appropriate label / stickers / documentations as per prescribed specifications and procedures.
3. To maintain all laboratory equipment in good condition.
4. To maintain a high standard of housekeeping in laboratory.
5. To follow the company’s Safety & Health rules and policy.
6. Understand the company’s Quality Policy.
7. To understand the implications of improper job performance.
8. To know the company’s GMP, Hygiene rules, good laboratory practices and other do’s and don’ts.
9. To obey the company’s rules and regulations, disciplinary procedures and any general instructions issued by the management from time to time.
10. To promptly report any unsafe acts or conditions, accidents near miss accidents or incidents.
11. Wear prescribed personal protective equipment and to follow practices and procedures established to maintain his or her and others safety and health.
12. To perform any other jobs as assigned by the superior or management.
13. Ensure equipment is calibrated; settings and profiles are set according to standards. This include the processes to qualify the newly installed machineries in the production and packing departments.
14. To advise the senior any violations of quality system regulation and specifications at workplace.
15. Ensure all data is captured, collected and processes accurately and posted at the relevant location whenever is required.
16. To monitor and ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials as required by the company policy and environment standards and legislations.
17. To understand and adhere to quality system requirement (QSR), ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and other regulatory standards and requirements.
18. To understand, adhere to and participate in compliance to cooperate Core Standard and Environment Management System.
19. To understand and fully adhere to the company rules and code of ethics.

KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education: Diploma in Applied Science / Chemistry / Biotechnology or related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards is an advantage.
