Job summary

A manufacturing company in George Town is seeking a qualified individual to lead the Quality Management System implementation in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in QMS, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and be familiar with ISO standards like ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to liaise with customers on quality issues. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in QMS, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and other relevant certifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Good communication skill and working attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001.
  • Ensure process, product and quality system meets specified requirements.
  • Communicate with customers and relevant parties regarding QMS processes & maintenance.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits to guarantee adherence to quality standards.
  • Identify quality system issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Participate and support in product investigations related to customer complaints.
  • Maintain compliance with QMS standards and customer requirements ISO 9001.
  • Coordinate the review of procedures and work instruction associated with other departments as continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Liaise with customers regarding quality system issues.
  • Investigate technical and regulatory issues, providing insights for management reviews.
  • Ensure own safety and adherence to safety and health policy.
  • Practice 5S activities in workplace.
  • Train others in all aspects of the quality system.
