Job description

This full-time QC Technician position at ELTA FANS MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in Shah Alam, Selangor offers a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the company's manufacturing operations. As a QC Technician, you will ensures products meet quality, safety, and company standards by testing materials, in-process items, and finished goods using specialized equipment and following procedures like ISO 9001 standards by performing inspections, calibrating instruments, documenting results, reporting defects, and collaborating with production teams to resolve quality issues.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and execute daily QC routines, ensuring product quality before delivery.
• Perform functional and performance tests on assembled ventilation fan products.
• Inspect electrical wiring, motor connections, and component integration for compliance with specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues in fan units including on-site replacements.
• Accurately document test results, inspection findings, and corrective actions taken.
• Maintain and update test records and checklists in line with ISO 9001 standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure safe use of testing tools and adherence to electrical safety protocols.
• Participate in company-wide activities, including Annual Stock Take, Health and Safety practices, and other corporate initiatives.

What we are looking for

• TVET Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in quality control, electrical testing, or related work.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Familiar with the use of multi‑meters, tachometers, insulation testers, and other QC tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills for record‑keeping and reporting.
• Experience in the HVAC or ventilation equipment industry is an added advantage.
• Available to travel to outstation or overseas locations for site work, as required.
