Job summary

Job description
Job Functions include but are not limited to

Inspection & Testing: Inspection on raw materials and products (including molds, jigs and process related equipment) using various instruments, checking for compliance with specifications.

Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of tests, results, equipment calibration, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or other documents.

Sampling: Collecting samples from production lines, incoming shipments or finished goods for analysis.

Reporting & Problem-Solving: Reporting deviations, identifying root causes of defects, and collaborating with production, CI/ME and PDE teams on corrective actions. Perform analysis on production performance, trends and deviations.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring testing equipment is calibrated and functions correctly. Supporting new test equipment and implementation methods.

Compliance: Ensuring processes meet industry standards (like GMP, ISO) and safety regulations (handling chemicals safely) as well as SOP/ WI. Participate and contribute to monthly safety initiatives.

Support HOD or designee on man‑power arrangement, peer performance and disciplinary requirement on the related shift.

Perform any other related lawful duties that may be given by the management from time to time.

Work Requirement

Able to work shifts.

Able to work Overtime (OT) if required.

Authorization

Inspect, test and authorize to release raw material, products and process related equipment to the next process. If deviations are found, report to HOD or designee immediately.

Maintain, calibrate and approve testing equipment and various instruments in QC laboratories. If deviations are found, report to HOD or designee immediately.

Establish, maintain and approve SOPs / WIs related to QC process.

Job Requirements
Education
  • Min. SPM or equivalent. Preferably a Certificate/ Diploma Holder or above.
  • Attention to Detail & Meticulousness.
  • Technical Skills (lab equipment, measurement tools).
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Abilities.
  • Communication (written and verbal).
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office, data management).
  • Ability to work with others and lead the related team.
