Job summary

A manufacturing company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to conduct thorough inspections of materials and components, generate reports, and liaise on production issues. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in quality control within a metal parts environment and a background in engineering. Summary of the Job

Primary function e-Cabinet inspection & accessories inspection reports generation.

Job Description

• Conduct thorough quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, the e-cabinet, and accessories by strictly following the work instructions and procedures and notifying the QA/QC engineer of problems.
• Liaise with inter-departments on production quality issues.
• Initiate issuance of Non-conformance Report as necessary.
• Generate required reports of QC Inspections.
• Proper parts handling between Store & QC.
• Perform daily audit checks on production 5S, ESD and Temperature/Humidity.
• Propose any improvement in the production process to improve product quality.
• Other duties as and when assigned

Job Requirements

• Must pass SPM/SPM(V) / Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in Engineering and above.
• Min. 1 year QC experience in a metal parts manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of surface finish requirements, and good measuring in fabrication parts, fixtures, and jigs is preferred.
• Self-motivated, highly resourceful, and organized.
• Use basic measuring instruments and basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• ISO 9001 or similar quality system auditing experience.
• Ability to communicate simple English cross-functionally
