As a QC Assistant to the QC Manager, you will provide crucial administrative, operational, and coordinative support to the Quality Control Manager in overseeing all quality assurance activities. You will assist the QC Manager in the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality control systems and procedures. Your responsibilities will include managing documentation, preparing reports, coordinating communication between different teams and departments, and assisting in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives. You will also play a role in ensuring compliance with relevant quality standards and regulations, and may supervise the work of QC Inspectors under the guidance of the QC Manager. Furthermore, you will handle various administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the quality control department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the QC Manager.
- Assist the QC Manager in the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality control systems and procedures.
- Manage and organize quality control documentation, records, and reports.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on quality performance for the QC Manager's review.
- Coordinate communication and information flow between QC Inspectors, production teams, and other relevant departments.
- Assist in the planning and execution of quality improvement initiatives.
- Support the QC Manager in ensuring compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulations.
- May assist in the supervision and guidance of QC Inspectors, under the direction of the QC Manager.
- Assist in the collection, conveyance, and summarization of daily inspection reports and other relevant data.
- Support the timely dissemination of quality-related information to relevant departments.
- Assist in the analysis of quality data and the preparation of summaries for the QC Manager.
- Help manage departmental affairs, resources, and administrative processes.
- Facilitate internal and external cross-departmental communication and collaboration on quality-related matters.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of departmental management information and reports.
- Help in the management of departmental office supplies and other resources.
- Support the QC Manager in the management of departmental assets and administrative tasks.
- Assist the QC Manager in reporting daily work progress and any critical issues to higher management.
- Complete other tasks and projects as assigned by the QC Manager.
What We're Looking For:
- Relevant qualifications in quality assurance, manufacturing, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a quality control or administrative role, preferably with some exposure to manufacturing environments.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in data management, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, supporting the QC Manager effectively.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001) is an advantage.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to support the QC Manager in addressing quality-related challenges.
