Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process checks and monitor factory acceptance tests.
• Assist service team with site testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Update project documentation as needed.

Key Responsibilities

QAQC (main priority)

• Report to QAQC & SERVICE HOD
• Monitored and managed by QAQC supervisor
• To conduct in process checking, by referring in process checklist form that include
• Project panel specification (Visual and physical)
• Component and breaker arrangement
• Component and breaker rating detail
• Wiring detail as per ICM & DCI drawing
• Nameplate arrangement
• Torque check.
• Work closely with QAQC supervisor to perform factory routine test to identify potential problem and address them proactively.
• To assist supervisor in conducting factory acceptance test with project engineering and client.
• To monitor and clear any punchlist recorded during factory acceptance.
• To assist QAQC supervisor in ensuring, panel have been clean and touch up before packing for delivery.
• To update any changes on the ICM & DCI drawing to be sent to project engineer for as built drawing.
• Other duties and task given by management from time to time.

Service (support role)

• Report to QAQC & SERVICE HOD
• Monitored and managed by site engineer
• To assist service team if required more manpower on site testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of switchboard system to ensure they meet performance and safety standard.
• To assist service team if site team lack knowledge of new technology of switchgear at factory.
• Other duties and task given by management from time to time

Requirements

• Electrical engineering diploma or equivalent; technical competency in electrical background such as Chargeman and wireman
• 1 year experience as a service technician, electrical technician, or similar role in the electrical industry
• Fresh grad in electrical background is welcome to applied.
• Strong understanding on electrical switchboard components and relevant safety protocol will be added as an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skill with keen attention to detail
• Able to work independently or as a part of team in fast-paced environment
• Able to travel to customer site if required.
• Valid driving license and clean driving record
