Job description
What you're doing
  • QAQC System & Planning
    • Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with ISO 9001 and project requirements.
    • Establish QAQC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), checklists, and method statements for all trades, especially MEP works.
    • Ensure quality requirements are communicated and implemented across site teams and subcontractors.
  • Quality Control – Site Execution
    • Conduct regular site inspections to verify works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
    • Monitor workmanship quality for MEP, CSA, and mission‑critical installations.
    • Identify non‑conformities (NCRs), issue corrective action requests, and track closure.
  • MEP & Mission‑Critical Quality Oversight
    • Ensure quality compliance for power systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, busducts) and cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, piping).
    • Verify installation meets redundancy, reliability, and data centre performance requirements.
    • Ensure fire protection and life safety systems meet authority and client standards.
  • Material Inspection & Control
    • Inspect incoming materials and equipment to ensure compliance with approved submissions.
    • Maintain material inspection records and traceability documentation.
    • Ensure proper storage, handling, and protection of materials on site.
  • Testing, Commissioning & Handover Support
    • Ensure all Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities follow approved procedures and quality standards.
    • Review test results, commissioning reports, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) documentation.
    • Ensure completeness and accuracy of as‑built drawings, O&M manuals, test certificates, and handover documents.
  • Authority, Consultant & Client Coordination
    • Coordinate quality inspections with consultants, clients, and statutory authorities.
    • Support authority inspections and ensure timely closure of comments and punch lists.
    • Act as the main contractor’s focal point for quality‑related matters.
  • Continuous Improvement & Reporting
    • Monitor quality performance metrics and report to project management.
    • Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve construction quality.
    • Promote a quality‑driven culture across the project team.
What we're looking for
  • Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Similar role in the construction instruction / Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing experiences.
  • 8–12 years of construction QAQC experience, with data centre or mission‑critical project exposure preferred.
  • Proven experience working with a main contractor, managing multiple subcontractors.
  • Excellent knowledge of quality control techniques, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to think critically.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in using quality management software and data analysis tools.
