Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Shah Alam, Malaysia, is seeking a Quality Assurance professional. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all quality-related activities, ensuring consistent high quality of finished products. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the manufacturing sector and knowledge of ISO 9001 is an advantage. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required, while Mandarin is a plus. This role involves monitoring QA operations, managing quality issues, and preparing reports.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all quality-related activities in the Company inclusive of day-to-day operation.
• Ensure regular records, routine quality checks are being executed at all processes are in accordance with the set standard.
• Ensure finished products achieved consistent high quality.
• Monitor and control the QAQC Dept. daily operation.
• Manage quality problems and implement corrective action.
• To raise nonconformance report whenever there is nonconformance detected.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports.
• As Deputy Quality Management Representative to assist QMR on the Quality Management System implementation.
• Responsible for the coordination of periodic audits, instruction review and ensure line implementation do not conflict with operating procedures.
• To assist QMR on the preparation of internal & external audits that are to be presented to the management.
• Check, review and prepare for any customer new specifications.
• Issue PNCR for every defect product.
• Testing new material product / new supplier.
• Prepare Daily Certificate of Conformance.
• To update Bill of Materials into system.
• AutoCAD drawing.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks to be assigned by the Management from time to time.

Supplementary Functions

• Participates in Factory Monthly Review Meeting with production, maintenance, logistic and planner department.
• To maintain 6S at workplace.
• Checking process monitoring if absent of the inspector.

Skills/Requirements

• Minimum 3 years working experience in manufacturing sector.
• Can converse in B. Malaysia, English and preferable in Mandarin.
• Knowledge in management and control of workforce.
• Knowledge in ISO 9001 Quality Management System is an advantage.
• Able to plan and delegate.
