A leading player in the Food Manufacturing Industry is seeking a QA Senior Analyst in Kuala Selangor. This critical role involves leading all QC testing activities across various laboratories, ensuring compliance with GLP, GMP, and other standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of experience in QC/QA within food manufacturing. Responsibilities include managing supplier quality and maintaining laboratory documentation.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in QC/QA within food manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of GLP, GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict adherence to GLP, calibration schedules, and reporting practices.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for analytical methods and product release.
  • Oversee timely inspection and testing of raw materials and finished products.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support NPD and special batch trials.
  • Manage supplier quality and investigation of non‑conformances.
  • Drive operational discipline in in‑process quality control.
  • Maintain compliant laboratory documentation, SOPs, and track KPIs.

We are currently looking for a QA Senior Analyst for a leading player in the Food Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 100 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

  • Based in Selangor
  • Reporting to: QA Manager
Responsibilities
  • Lead all QC testing activities across Incoming, In-Process, Finished Goods, and Sensory laboratories, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
  • Ensure strict adherence to GLP, calibration schedules, standardized analytical methods, and reporting practices in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for analytical methods, supporting product release decisions with integrity and evidence‑based evaluations.
  • Oversee timely inspection and testing of raw materials, packaging, in-process checks, finished products, and sensory evaluations, providing informed disposition recommendations (release/on‑hold/rejection) based on results and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support NPD, shelf‑life studies, and special batch trials through robust analytical evaluations.
  • Manage supplier quality, including review and validation of COAs, investigation and closure of supplier non‑conformances, and providing trend analyses to support risk mitigation.
  • Drive operational discipline in in‑process quality control through coaching, proactive engagement with production teams, and continuous process improvement.
  • Maintain compliant laboratory documentation, SOPs, and test records per FSSC 22000, ISO, HACCP, and GMP standards, track KPIs, monitor non‑conformances, and ensure perpetual audit readiness.
Experience and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in QC/QA within food manufacturing, covering laboratory testing, in‑process control, and finished product release.
  • Strong knowledge of GLP, GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and ISO standards, with experience in analytical method standardization, calibration, and test validation.
