A manufacturing company in Ipoh is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee and maintain quality assurance processes. The candidate will be responsible for managing the QC department, implementing ISO 9001 standards, and coordinating with various teams and customers to ensure product quality. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and a relevant diploma or degree are required. The role emphasizes problem-solving, analytical skills, and independent working abilities.
In charge of QC department, planning, coordinating, implementing and maintaining the most effective and efficient procedures for optimum quality
assurance to meet ISO 9001 standard as well as customer's requirements.
To handle Quality Control Presentation on “Quality Planning Process” to on-line new customer as well as existing customers when necessary.
Liaison and coordination with external suppliers and internal production team to facilitate new product development.
Coordinates with customers to determine product specifications and design changes and responds to their request.
Oversee product quality performance and continuous process improvement to meet customers' requirements.
Ensure quality related issues and customer feedback are promptly resolved through effective corrective action.
Work interactively with production, sales, customer and supplier to seek for improvement on quality issue and productivity.
Review manufacturing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) periodically.
Develop and implement procedures such a Quality Assurance Test Procedures, Control Plans, and Work Instructions that will assure product quality and customer satisfaction goals are met.
In charge of the QA & QC department.
Act as the company's ISO management system representative.
Plan and co-ordinate the internal quality control
Monitor on the implementation and compliance of the company’s QMS 9001 and EMS 14001.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree or equivalent.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in manufacturing environment.
Good in analytical skill and problem solving skill.
Display team player characteristics and potential to take on more responsibilities.
Good in communication skill and able to work independently.
