Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Malaysia, Selangor is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to develop and maintain Quality Management Systems. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Job description

Responsibilities

Assist to develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems and processes.

Ensure inspection and testing of in-coming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to specification.

Identify and troubleshoot product quality issues. Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend preventive measures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and process improvements.

Prepare and update quality-related documents such as test procedure/ plan, QC inspection standard, non-conformance report and etc.

Maintain an organized and efficient document control system, ensuring that documents are easily accessible, properly stored and distributed to relevant parties.

Conduct training sessions for QC staffs and other department staffs on quality control procedures and standards.

Participate and assist in any internal, external & supplier audits.

Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve product quality.

Oversee daily QC activities to ensure all processes comply with established protocols and any deviations are promptly addressed.

Ensure regular calibration and maintenance of all testing equipment to maintain accuracy and reliability.

Perform any other duty & responsibility which the superior or the company may assign from time to time.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role.

Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Knowledge of basic quality assurance and quality control methods

Knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems requirements

Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, coating thickness gauges, multimeter and etc.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
