A manufacturing firm in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Manager to develop and implement quality management systems and oversee quality control procedures. Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Create, establish and maintain quality control procedures and processes throughout the entire manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products.
Setup Quality Department, Lead and manage a team of quality control professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess product quality, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to establish quality standards and resolve quality-related issues.
Monitor and analyst quality metrics, including defect rates, customer complaints, and non-conformance reports, to identify trends and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, quality standards, and certifications.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate their ability to meet quality requirements and drive supplier quality improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality management within the metal manufacturing industry.
