Uchida MK Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented QA Executive to join our growing team in Section 26, Shah Alam, Selangor. This full‑time role is responsible to assist the QA Manager by supervising daily inspections, ensuring ISO compliance, handling quality issues, process improvements to support our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and guide QA staff in daily inspection and testing activities.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure workload efficiency.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for skill improvement.
- Quality Control Operations:
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Ensure inspection methods comply with procedures and quality standards.
- Verify accuracy and consistency of inspection results.
- Approve or reject products based on quality requirements.
- Quality System Implementation:
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant quality standards.
- Monitor adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and quality procedures.
- Support internal and external audits and close audit findings.
- Non‑Conformance & CAPA Management:
- Lead investigation of quality issues and non‑conformities.
- Coordinate root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
- Track effectiveness of CAPA actions.
- Process Improvement:
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve process stability and reduce defects.
- Identify trends and initiate improvement projects.
- Implement quality tools such as SPC, Pareto analysis, 5 Why, Fishbone.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and review quality reports, and defect analysis.
- Maintain accurate QA documentation and records.
- Report quality performance to QA Manager.
- Handle customer quality complaints and lead internal investigations.
- Support supplier quality audits and performance reviews.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers on quality issues.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- 3–6 years in QA/QC, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or relevant quality standards.
- Familiarity with quality tools (7 QC tools, SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Able to understand & read technical drawings.
- Knowledge in product/QC and ability to use measuring equipment.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience in audit handling and compliance documentation.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and quality improvement methodologies.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organisational skills.
