Job summary

A leading chemical company in Penang is seeking a laboratory technician to conduct testing on incoming materials and finished products. Responsibilities include ensuring laboratory procedures are maintained and conducting equipment calibration. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome, and experience with GMP is a plus. The role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure, independently in a dynamic environment.

Job description

Perform various laboratory testing for in-coming materials and finished products.

Ensure / maintenance laboratory testing procedures and inspection manual are up-to-dated to determine product qualities are comply with reliabilities standard, rules and regulation.

Conduct routine maintenance, calibration and troubles shooting tasks forlaboratory equipment / instruments to ensure accurate analysis results

Able to interact with other functional department including production, warehouse, maintenance regarding issues affecting quality.

Participate in maintaining QSHE management system related to QA operations.

Skills / Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Food Science or others related field.
• Experience in laboratory testing and familiarity with GMP will be added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Those with related experience in laboratory environment / oleo chemical industry will be for priority consideration.
• Matured, positive thinking, able to work under pressure and independently in a challenging environment.
