Create standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for food safety and quality management.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of store facilities and focus on ensuring food safety & quality standards and identifying areas for improvement.
Maintain a robust documentation system for all food quality and safety-related activities.
Responsible for examining food products for quality and safety.
Conduct supplier audits to ensure that they meet food safety and quality standards.
Continuously assess and update food safety and quality procedures to ensure they align with the latest industry best practices and regulatory requirement.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Create, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Assist in preparing for internal and external audits by ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accessible.
Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to mitigate food quality and safety concerns.
Abachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Food Technology or a related field is often required.
Previous experience in food safety and quality assurance is typically required. This may include experience in auditing, quality assurance, quality control or food production.
Experience specifically in the convenience store industry or similar retail food environments can be a plus.
Familiarity with international food safety standards like HACCP and ISO 22000 is beneficial.
Proficiency in auditing techniques including conducting on-site inspections, reviewing documentation, and assessing compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Keen attention to detail is crucial to identify potential food safety and quality issues.
Ability to identify issues and develop solutions to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Ability to work collaboratively with store management and staff to promote a culture of food safety and quality.
Willingness to travel to different convenience store locations for audits.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance within the food industry.
