Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Kedah is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure quality compliance in software development processes. The role demands a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, alongside substantial experience in QA methodologies and automated testing. Responsibilities include inspecting materials, compiling quality reports, and collaborating with production teams to uphold quality standards. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software quality assurance.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with various types of testing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and ensure incoming materials meet design standards.
• Compile IQC reports for improvements.
• Conduct supplier qualification and performance audits.

Job description

Responsible to inspect and ensure incoming materials are complied with design standard / specification; correspond with internal department and suppliers for parts quality

Compiling IQC reports on incoming goods for improvements

Involves in supplier qualification audit and routine supplier performance audit and review

Responsible to inspect and ensure parts / products are being manufactured according to design drawings and standard

Compiling IPQC reports for production and products improvement

To seek new in-process testing and methods to improve products quality, minimize process rejection and scraps

Involves in daily production QC planning and job assignment to each work stations accordingly

Responsible to ensure products are being manufactured and delivered according to customers specification and requirement

Compiling QA reports on product quality, customer feedback, and warranty claim for improvement

To liaise with Production, R&D, Maintenance on quality improvement activities

To inculcate quality awareness among workforce

To involve and understand ISO audit requirement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools
• Familiarity with various types of testing
