Overview
This role is responsible for the Quality Assurance in the process of PCBA production and providing quality methods to avoid or solve problems.
Responsibilities
- Quality Planning: Responsible to develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures specific to PCBA production.
- Process Monitoring: Responsible to monitor production lines, conducting regular inspections, ensuring that all processes are followed correctly.
- Root Cause Analysis: Responsible to lead cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Documentation and Reporting: Responsible to maintain detailed records of quality assurance activities, including inspection results, test data, and non-conformance reports. Prepare reports for management and stakeholders to communicate quality metrics and improvement initiatives.
- Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor the quality of components and materials supplied by vendors. This includes conducting supplier audits and collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Training and Development: Provide training to production staff on quality standards and methods, inspection techniques, and best practices to ensure that everyone is aligned with quality objectives & IPC Requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure PCBA production processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as IPC standards, ISO certifications, and any customer-specific requirements.
- Product & Material Introduction (Quality): Ensure new or transfer product & material is successfully implemented to series release in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Degree in electronics engineering field or equivalent with 4-5 years relevant field experience
- Experience in PCBA Production end to end processes
- Knowledge in IPC 610 (CIT / CIS)
- Knowledge in IPC600
- Experience as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- Good comprehension and understanding of technical drawings and datasheets
- Good communication skills in both verbal & written and collaborate effectively between departments
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and able to drive tasks independently by collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Six Sigma Certification is a plus (Good understanding of quality management system ISO 9001, Six Sigma and other quality methods including 8D, Ishikawa, FMEA)
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis)
