Overview

Responsible for sourcing and managing key raw materials such as cocoa butter, cocoa mass, cocoa powder, milk powder and sugar. The role ensure stable supply, cost control and strategic purchasing and commodity environment and selected packaging materials.

• Purchase cocoa butter, cocoa mass, cocoa powder, milk powder related raw materials and selected packaging materials.
• Monitor global commodity markets and manage volatile pricing.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
• Maintain stock levels and coordinate deliveries with warehouse and production.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare cost forecasts, purchasing reports, and supplier performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management and other related fields
• Spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English
• 1-2 years procurement in food or chocolate manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of cocoa and dairy commodities.
• Good negotiation market analysis and cost management skills.
• Good communication skills
