This is an exciting opportunity to join Elentec Malaysia Sdn Bhd as a Purchasing Manager. Based in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor, this full‑time role is responsible for overseeing the company's purchasing and procurement activities. As Purchasing Manager, you will play a crucial part in supporting the organisation's manufacturing, warehouse and logistics operations.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process, from sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers that align with the company's quality, cost and delivery requirements
• Oversee inventory management, monitoring stock levels and implementing strategies to optimise procurement and reduce costs
• Analyse market trends, negotiate favourable contracts and develop long‑term relationships with key suppliers
• Provide regular purchasing reports and performance updates to senior management
• Mentor and develop the purchasing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a purchasing or procurement management role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Able to speak Korean language, both written and verbal is an added advantage.
• Excellent negotiation Byrne and contract management skills, with the ability to drive cost savings and optimise supplier relationships
• Proficient in inventory management techniques, including demand forecasting and just‑in‑time delivery
• Proactive problem‑solver with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical capabilities
• Proven track record of leading and developing high‑performing teams
