  • Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs) accurately.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms.
  • Coordinate with Production and Warehouse.
  • Ensure purchased items meet automotive standards.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on new part development.
  • Identify supply risks and implement contingency measures.

Responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials, and indirect items required for automotive production. Ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, supplier reliability, and compliance with automotive quality standards. Supports production continuity and cost reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source, evaluate, and maintain reliable suppliers, support audits and supplier development.
  • Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs) accurately; track deliveries and resolve delays.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to achieve cost savings.
  • Coordinate with Production and Warehouse to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Ensure purchased items meet automotive standards (IATF 16949, PPAP, IMDS).
  • Maintain accurate procurement records; prepare reports and support audits.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on new part development and RFQs.
  • Identify supply risks and implement contingency measures to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • On-Time Delivery (OTD) of materials to production.
  • Cost savings achieved through negotiations or alternative sourcing.
  • Supplier performance in quality, delivery, and service.
  • Purchase Order accuracy.
  • Inventory adherence to optimal stock levels.
  • Compliance with automotive standards and documentation requirements.
Qualifications
