Job summary

Identify and source the most suitable suppliers for raw materials and other production-related supplies

Negotiate favourable pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company

Place purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage inventory levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking

Collaborate with the production team to understand forecasted demand and plan procurement activities accordingly

Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions and prepare relevant reports

Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and implement cost-saving measures

Ensure compliance with the company's procurement policies and procedures

Job Requirements

Diploma / Degree holder with minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing industry

Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize purchasing decisions

Ability to work well in a team and contribute to the overall success of the organization
