We are a fast-growing modern furniture group with local retail and international sourcing operations. To support our expansion, we are looking for a Furniture Buyer / Purchasing Executive to join our team in Miri, Sarawak.

Job Responsibilities

• Source and purchase furniture, materials, and accessories from local & overseas suppliers
• Evaluate suppliers on price, quality, delivery time, and reliability
• Negotiate cost, MOQ, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, warehouse, and logistics teams
• Monitor stock levels and plan purchasing according to sales forecasts
• Track orders, follow up on production, and ensure timely delivery
• Stay updated on furniture trends, materials, and market pricing

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Purchasing, Business, Supply Chain, Interior Design, or related field
• Experience in furniture industry is highly preferred
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in furniture & sourcing are welcome
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• Computer literate (Excel, QnE or purchasing systems is an advantage)
• Willing to do occasional travel (local / overseas)
• Able to communicate in English & Mandarin (preferred)
