Job description

Job Responsibilities: (Multiple Positions Available)

Purchaser (Direct Materials)

• Responsible for the procurement of raw and waste materials required for production, ensuring timely delivery and material availability.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and handle delays, shortages, or quality issues to avoid production disruption.
• Manage and control inventory levels, including slow-moving and obsolete materials handling.
• Perform invoice verification, reconciliation, and ensure alignment with purchase orders.
• Support supplier quality management activities together with the relevant departments.
• Maintain and update ERP purchasing data, continuously enhancing system accuracy and efficiency.

Purchaser (Indirect Materials)

• Responsible for sourcing and purchasing of indirect materials, consumables, equipment, tools, spare parts, and services.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to achieve cost competitiveness and reliable supply.
• Review and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure value-for-money procurement.
• Coordinate with internal departments for purchasing needs, specifications, and approvals.
• Handle vendor invoice verification and ensure accurate documentation for payment processing.
• Participate in cost reduction and process improvement initiatives related to procurement.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with ERP/MRP systems and procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English is an added advantage to liaise with suppliers.
