Job description

Purpose

To support the proposition manager in developing the proposition strategy, including policy, product, communications, platform, service, target market, and distribution. Actively reappraise existing propositions to maintain competitiveness.

Key Accountabilities

1. Maintain the portfolio of existing products, updating them in response to regulatory and technical market changes, producing and maintaining product positioning statements, and managing regulatory and other product risks.
2. Lead small to medium-sized product developments or projects and own and resolve issues related to development.
3. Develop and maintain propositions with a customer focus, aligned with brand values.
4. Support product development, including sign-off of key deliverables.
5. Coordinate activities with training to ensure appropriate aspects are communicated and tested.
6. Collaborate with promotion teams to understand feedback from events and workshops, evaluate results, and make recommendations for future proposition changes.
7. Identify initiatives to maintain or grow profitable market share for relevant propositions.
8. Exhibit strong business knowledge and understanding of products, systems, processes, and the regulatory environment.
