About the job

As a Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Lead Tenders: Manage and lead the entire process for complex, high-value tender submissions, including supervising junior staff.
• Ensure Compliance & Quality: Oversee proposal preparation, ensuring accuracy, timely submission, and full compliance with client requirements and high-quality standards.
• Review Commercials: Analyse and review tender costs and pricing to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business objectives.
• Manage Contracts: Coordinate with the legal team to review and mitigate risks in contract terms and GTCs.
• Handle E-Procurement: Operate and manage client e-procurement systems for formal bid submission.
• Coordinate Teams: Collaborate with the BDM, Legal, Finance, and Technical teams to develop comprehensive and strategic proposals.

Team

You will be reporting to the Business Development Manager (BDM).

Skills and experience required

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals, preferably in rotating equipment or industrial service sectors.
• Extensive experience in proposal engineering, particularly in leading tender submissions and reviewing costing.
