Job summary

A leading technology company in Malaysia is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to develop relationships with government agencies and contractors. In this role, you'll prepare technical proposals, conduct product presentations, and monitor project progress. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering and 1–3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of HVAC systems and strong communication skills are advantageous. A competitive salary package with allowances and commission is offered.

Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, universities, and contractors.

Identify project opportunities and prepare technical & commercial proposals / quotations.

Conduct product presentations, seminars, and site visits.

Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors for project implementation.

Ensure compliance with government procurement processes and regulatory requirements.

Monitor project progress, provide updates, and prepare technical reports.

Support the company in achieving sales targets and business growth.

Job Requirement:

Diploma or Degree In Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related fields)

Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in technical sales, m&e works or engineering-related roles.

Strong knowledge of HVLS fans, ceiling fans, wall fans, and ventilation systems (preferred)

Good communication skill with external party (Government sector is Preferable)

Project coordination and site management skills.

Technical sales and proposal preparation.

Ability to conduct product presentations and technical briefings.

Good understanding of M&E works and building services.

Client relationship management and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Knowledge of government project processes (Advantage)

Familiarity with JKR, PPD, MARA, universities, or municipal project workflows (Advantage)

Willing to travel (own driving license)

Good communication skill in Bahasa is advantage.

Product training will be provided.
