Role Summary

The incumbent is responsible for achieving sales targets by promoting Wiring Devices (PL2), Residential Systems (PL3), Building Systems (PL4), and PVC Conduits and Equipment (PL9) product lines to Retailers, Contractors, and Investors.

Role Responsibilities

  • Acquire in-depth product knowledge of all company products.
  • Understand customer profiles and needs, and expand Legrand’s support and business by providing professional pre-sales and post-sales services, including technical support.
  • Prospect new customers and developers through cold calls and sales visits.
  • Promote product lines via sales presentations, events, and networking sessions in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Prepare concept proposals, specifications, quotations, and generate sales to meet targets.
  • Build trust and support customers (Retailers, Contractors, Investors) with professional pre-sales and post-sales services, including technical support.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all products and provide internal and external training when needed.
  • Conduct product presentations to prospective clients.
  • Handle pricing inquiries, follow-up on orders, and manage delivery schedules.
  • Provide sales reports to the Head of Sales.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Sales-driven with the ability to meet business targets and goals.
  • Ability to support sales efforts and meet customer expectations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proficiency in English, Malay, and Chinese dialects.
  • Own transportation is required.
  • Willingness to travel within Klang Valley and across Peninsular Malaysia as needed.
  • Mandarin speaking, reading, and writing skills are mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Allowance: RM700 within Klang Valley, RM800 for outstation, RM50 toll.
  • Petrol card provided upon confirmation; pre-confirmation pay and claim (80/20 for Klang Valley, 85/15 for outstation).
