Job summary

A logistics equipment company based in Hulu Kelang is looking for a Project Manager responsible for the entire project life cycle, including planning and execution, communication with clients, and team leadership. Project Manager:
Main duties
  • Project full cycle management: is responsible for the whole process management from project initiation, programme design, procurement, installation and commissioning, acceptance to final delivery.
  • Customer communication and coordination: As the main external interface of the project, maintain close communication with domestic and foreign customers, manage customer expectations, report on project progress, and handle customer feedback.
  • Cross-Cultural Team Leader: Lead and coordinate multinational, cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical and software engineering to ensure consistent project goals and information flow.
  • Resource and risk management: Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, manage budgets, and effectively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Quality and delivery assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet technical specifications, quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Document Management: Prepare and maintain professional project documents such as project plans, progress reports, minutes of meetings (competency in writing documents in English and Chinese is required).
Requirements for appointment

Required conditions:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, engineering management, mechanical engineering, automation, logistics engineering or related professions preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in management of automatic storage and logistics projects (such as four-way vehicle, AS / RS, AGV, conveyor system, etc.). Those familiar with the technical principles of four-way vehicle systems are preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to conduct accessible business talks, technical discussions and written communication with colleagues and clients abroad (must be demonstrated in the interview).
  • Proficient in item management methodologies (e.g. PMP, Prince2 certification preferred) and tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira).
  • Excellent problem solving, stress resistance and multi-tasking skills.
  • Can adapt to short-term travel at home and abroad.
Pre-Sales Planning Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
  • Able to work independently and effectively assist sales personnel in planning solutions based on customer requirements, preparing proposal presentation slides (PPT), and conducting technical discussions with customers.
  • Proficient in using CAD and other related software.
  • Capable of analyzing customer-provided data and planning layouts reasonably based on the analysis results.
  • Possess a strong sense of responsibility, team spirit, and good coordination skills both internally and externally.
  • Have more than 2 years of experience in automated warehouse (AS/RS) planning, with a certain understanding of racking structures and output capacity, and able to make appropriate equipment selections.
  • Prepare technical agreements and assist the sales team in completing technical proposal documents.
  • Able to follow reasonable work arrangements from superiors, and cooperate with overtime and business travel as required.
Job Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to use AutoCAD drawing software skilfully.
  • Responsible, strong communication skills, cheerful personality, and able to work under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, information Technology or related field.
  • Must be proficient in both English and Chinese.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and undergo training in China as required by the role (up to 3 to 6 months)
