We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong leadership and project planning skills to manage and deliver building construction projects. The ideal candidate must have proven hands‑on experience in building projects — including landed, mid‑rise residential, or commercial developments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, execute, and monitor building construction projects to ensure timely completion within cost and quality standards.
- Prepare the Master Work Programme, daily/weekly work schedules, and Site Organization Chart.
- Ensure compliance with authority requirements for building submissions, approvals, and certifications (Architect, C&S, M&E, etc.).
Leadership, Communication & Coordination
- Lead and mentor the site team to maintain productivity, efficiency, and quality.
- Communicate regularly with the Director and management on project progress, risks, resources, and critical issues.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams (Contract, QS, Purchasing), consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
- Attend site meetings, prepare progress reports, and update management on manpower and resource allocation.
Quality, Site Management & Technical Control
- Oversee construction workmanship, materials, and installation works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Ensure proper sequencing of trades and resolve construction issues promptly.
- Manage site inspections, material verification, and compliance with project specifications.
Cost, Budget & Variations
- Manage project budgets, progress claims, variations, and VO submissions.
- Verify, document, and obtain client/consultant approval for any changes to project plans.
- Coordinate procurement, deliveries, and installation of building materials.
HSE, ISO & Statutory Compliance
- Implement safety, health, and environmental measures in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Maintain ISO 9001:2015 procedures, documentation, and audit readiness.
General & Ad-Hoc Responsibilities
- Resolve site issues to ensure smooth project execution and stakeholder collaboration.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Project Department or Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience managing building projects (landed, mid‑rise residential, commercial) — highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of building construction methods, materials, authority submission processes, and sequencing of trades.
- Excellent leadership, project planning, communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient in project management tools/software (AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office).
- Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) coordination is an added advantage.
