A leading construction service provider in Malaysia is looking for an experienced Project Manager / Assistant Manager (Electrical) to oversee electrical projects in Johor Bahru. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry and a degree in Electrical Engineering. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Assistant Manager (Electrical) to join our dynamic team at TECHNOLGENT SDN BHD. As a key member of our Construction team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our electrical projects in Johor Bharu / Selangor. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in project management and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Developing and implementing comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and cost‑effective project delivery
Coordinating and managing all aspects of electrical projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder management
Providing technical expertise and oversight to ensure projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, such as design, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution
Identifying and mitigating project risks, and implementing appropriate risk management strategies
Monitoring project progress, reporting on key performance indicators, and implementing corrective actions as needed
Fostering a positive team environment and providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
5+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on electrical projects
Proven track record of successfully managing complex electrical projects from inception to completion
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems, construction methodologies, and relevant regulations and standards
Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Demonstrable problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, with a focus on delivering high‑quality outcomes
Experience in Data Center projects would be an advantage
