Job description

Project Management Executive (for Operating Company)

Conduct Request for Quotation (RFQ) studies and prepare Invitation for Quotation (IFQ) documents to support the costing team in developing accurate part pricing.

Analyse cost data and market trends to propose effective pricing strategies.

Plan, execute, coordinate, and monitor project implementation throughout the design and development phases, ensuring alignment with schedule, cost, and quality targets.

Collaborate and communicate effectively with key stakeholders including customers, internal departments, and sub-suppliers.

Read, interpret, and summarize technical specifications and engineering drawings.

Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities and compile relevant documentation with input from supporting APQP departments.

Prepare progress updates and final development reports, including identified issues and resolutions. Ensure smooth handover of completed projects to the operations team.

Provide technical support for unforeseen issues during project development, both internally and at customer sites.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.

Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge in Project Management, Manufacturing Processes, Reporting, and Cost Analysis.

Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise across functional teams.

Competent in project planning, with a structured and methodical approach to execution.

Demonstrated ability in organizational agility and team collaboration.

Skilled in problem-solving with a hands-on, action-oriented mindset.

Self-motivated with strong initiative and the ability to work independently.
