Job summary

A construction company in Bandar Penawar, Malaysia is seeking a Civil Engineer to analyze technical drawings, resolve issues, and coordinate multidisciplinary works. Candidates should possess a degree in Civil Engineering, be proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel, and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. Experience of 2 years is preferred, but fresh graduates with strong technical fundamentals are also encouraged to apply. Relocation may be required based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate works between various disciplines and resolve interface issues.
• Provide engineering solutions to challenges on-site.
• Direct the site team to ensure correct execution of works.
• Prepare works method statements and shop drawings.

Job description

Analyze drawings and resolve issues which are technically wrong or not constructable

Coordinate works between various discipline and resolve any interface issues

Provide engineering solutions to engineering challenges on-site

Direct the site team to ensure the works are carried out correctly and in accordance with the drawings and specifications

Prepare the works method statement

To carry out simple temporary works design

Prepare shop drawing

Requirements

Degree holder in Civil Engineering and registered with the Board of Engineer Malaysia

Proficient with AutoCAD & Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail

Ability to resolve issues with minimal supervision

Ability to liaise and coordinate the work between the client and the site team

Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels

Able to cope with the fast pace environment & meet the tight deadlines set out by the clients

Preferably 2 years of work experience

Fresh graduates with good fundamental on technical knowledge are encouraged to apply

Willing to relocate depending on the project requirements
