We are looking for a highly committed and detail-oriented Project Engineer (Civil) to join our team. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and capable of managing construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Job Description
- Oversee and manage construction projects to ensure completion on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise all on-site activities, including subcontractors, workers, and machinery, to maintain efficient construction progress.
- Ensure all construction works comply with technical specifications, customer requirements, and statutory obligations, including safety and regulatory compliance.
- Manage construction materials, minimize waste, and maintain proper control of company assets and site machinery.
- Prepare and submit daily site reports, capture progress photos, and record accurate site measurements to track project development.
- Identify, address, and resolve technical or engineering issues, including discrepancies in drawings and project details.
- Attend consultant and site meetings to review project status, align deliverables, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
- Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with on-site implementation.
- Prepare all required technical documentation, including as-built drawings, test reports, inspection reports, and other project records.
- Resolve on-site technical issues in collaboration with consultants, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in civil / electrical infrastructure projects.
- Direct experience in TNB grid development works is mandatory/preferable.
- Proven leadership qualities – a true team leader who is motivated, driven, and result-oriented.
- A proactive individual who takes ownership; not a passenger, but a driver.
- Strong interpersonal, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical expertise in structural analysis, design, and project management.
- Well-versed with TNB standards, authority procedures, and safety compliance.
- Able to start immediately or within a short notice period.
