A leading project management company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Project Manager Assistant to support project management activities. Responsibilities include handling project plans, managing teams, and collaborating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Project Management and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction management. Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English are required, and knowledge of HVAC systems is preferred.
Assist the Project Manager to handle the project effectively.
Developing and implementing detailed project plans, schedules, budget and project costs.
Support project management activities, and monitor progress of assigned projects throughout the entire project lifecycle to achieve effective time, cost and quality.
Manage the project team to meet the project requirements and deadline.
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders involved in the projects i.e. consultants, contractors, government officials, etc.
Prepare project reports and provide updates to Project Manager.
Periodically update the team on work schedule progress including progress claim.
Attend site meetings and resolving engineering and projects management issues when requested.
Daily update the team on work assignment and progress.
Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, communication with staff and providing customer feedback.
Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and revert the complaints to superior to solve the issues in the professional manner.
Ensure customer information to be kept confidentially and adequately according to company rules and regulations.
Work with sales team to ensure after-sales service to customer, providing expert advice / consultancy, strengthening customer relationship, etc.
Work closely and maintain good communication within department and other departments.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

At least a Diploma holder or Bachelor Degree in Project Management or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar project management role, preferably in project/construction management.
Possess technical knowledge of building automation system (HVAC mechanical and controls) will be an added advantage.
Good leadership and ability to lead site project team and coordinate with various departments and consultants.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, or Japanese (is an added advantage) including ability to speak effectively with vendors, customers and within organization.
Required Skill(s): Planning, organization, leadership, negotiation, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal.
Pleasant, proactive, good team player, self-initiated, responsible & positive attitude.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload and work under pressure.
Primary work locations are Kuala Lumpur & Cyberjaya, with potential travel to other project sites within Malaysia depending on project needs.
Possess with own transport & valid driving license.
