ZHAO YANG GEOTECHNIC SDN. BHD. is seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. In this full‑time position, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our diverse range of engineering projects, drawing on your technical expertise and project management skills.

What you’ll be doing

• Overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects from start to finish
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Conducting site inspections, monitoring progress, and resolving any issues that arise
• Preparing detailed project reports, cost estimates, and technical documentation
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and driving innovation within the team
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction or infrastructure industry
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, coordinate, and execute multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with a solutions‑oriented mindset
• Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, BIM, and project management tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring the highest quality standards
• Willingness to travel outstation (e.g., Melaka, Johor, Kelantan or any state in Malaysia)
