Job description

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and non‑routine manufacturing engineering tasks by following defined processes, procedures, and instructions.
  • Conduct technical investigations, develop test plans, and review results with engineering teams.
  • Manage the Engineering Change System and oversee documentation distribution control.
  • Utilize Oracle ERP to support BOM management, cost analysis, and annual standard costing activities.
  • Perform cost analysis for BOM changes, new business requests, and new product requirements.
  • Support activities such as capital equipment ROI requests, capability studies, plant layouts, capacity studies, and standard work documentation.
  • Lead and execute manufacturing engineering projects with limited scope or assist on phases of larger technical projects.
  • Prepare project‑related reports, layouts, graphs, and documentation to communicate progress and outcomes.
  • Lead improvement and localization projects, including development of specifications, control drawings, and testing instructions.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve routine and non‑routine manufacturing issues, escalating when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 1‑2 years of technical experience in specification, design, and installation and process improvements.
  • Prior experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership in manufacturing project management.
  • Ability to manage program risks to ensure technical readiness and product launch timelines.
  • Experience with product lifecycle and manufacturing execution systems is an advantage.
  • Strong capability in documentation, test planning, and technical reporting.
  • Effective cross‑functional collaboration and relationship‑building skills.
