Job description

Candice Yacht Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. is a leisure yacht manufacturer specializing in high-quality catamarans. With a growing production facility, a CEO from an Electrical Engineering background, and a team of approximately 20 ground staff, we are seeking a Project Coordinator (aged 30 and above) to support and coordinate daily manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

• Coordinate daily production activities to ensure project timelines are met.
• Track progress across all manufacturing stages, from plug manufacturing to completed yachts.
• Support the CEO in planning, scheduling, and execution of production tasks.

Team Coordination

• Coordinate work assignments among ground staff and subcontractors where applicable.
• Monitor task progress and highlight delays or issues to management promptly.
• Facilitate clear communication between production teams and management.

Operational Support & Problem Solving

• Assist in identifying and resolving operational challenges to minimize production disruptions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity.

Quality & Safety Monitoring

• Support quality checks at various production stages to ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized factory environment.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare regular progress updates, production reports, and basic documentation for management review.
• Maintain records related to schedules, materials usage, and production status.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related industrial field is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in industrial manufacturing or a related industry.
• Experience managing teams and ensuring project timelines are met.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
