Job summary

A technology firm in Malaysia is seeking a Project Coordinator to support planning, documentation, and administrative tasks across projects. Candidates should have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields. Qualifications

  • 0–3 years of experience in project coordination, PMO, or similar roles.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, documents, and trackers.
  • Very familiar with tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, tracking, and coordinating multiple projects.
  • Support project scheduling, task follow-ups, and milestone tracking.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Support
  • Assist in planning, tracking, and coordinating multiple projects
  • Support project scheduling, task follow-ups, and milestone tracking
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, action items, and follow-ups
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders
  • Maintain project documentation and status reports
Documentation & ISO Support
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining project documents, SOPs, and records
  • Support ISO-related documentation (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 56001, audits, records)
  • Ensure documents are properly controlled, updated, and archived
  • Support internal audits, corrective actions, and compliance tracking
  • Help ensure projects follow defined processes and documentation standards
General & Admin Support
  • Support procurement documentation and tracking (POs, invoices, records)
  • Assist with reporting for management and external parties when required
  • Any other tasks related to project and process support as assigned
Requirements
  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field
  • 0–3 years of experience in project coordination, PMO, or similar roles
  • Good organisational and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, documents, and trackers
  • Very familiar with tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (experience with Jira, Gitlab, Confluence, or similar tools is a plus)
  • Basic understanding of ISO standards is an advantage (internal training will be provided)
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work with minimal supervision
